All eyes on Tokyo

July was a big month for us: we finally got to enjoy nights out and process our feelings after the Euros in the UK. But with athletes like knitting extraordinaire and Japan fan Tom Daley leaving their mark on the competition, the month ended on a high note in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, Japan danced onto our screens with the beautiful Opening Ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, as well as with a record number of medals won, making this their most successful Olympic outing in history!

Here are a couple of things we learnt along the way:
1) Okinawa has a distinct cuisine made from healthy, local ingredients. A must-try! 🍱
2) You can try weaving your own kimono fabric at the Silk Museum in Yokohama 👘
