...when you leave a place, knowing that the place hasn't fully left you. The location, or thing, that makes your heart ache with joy everytime you think about it, and the ease that washes through your soul as you return to your FURUSATO ć€é - 'your spiritual home'!
December presented us with yet another unprecedented situation, sent to test our festive spirits, but despite last minute cancellations and dodgy WiFi connections, we found different ways to celebrate with our nearest and dearest - the people we call 'home'.
But a new year rolls in and with it resolutions, escapades, and dreams of the spiritual homes waiting out there to be found.
Japan feels like a spiritual home for so many of us so we asked our friends about their FURUSATO and the places they call Japanese Home.
Here are a couple of things we discovered together:
1) Traces of black history are all over, from the streets of Harajuku to Kyoto's temples!đ
2) There are mummies in Japan and most of them are hiding in northern Tohoku!
3) Seafood is something to look out for in winter! Red snow crab, yellowtail, oysters...đ€€
