It's that special kind of feeling you get seeing dappled sunlight magically filtering through the lush leaves of a forest canopy.
And Japan has a word for that -
KOMOREBI 木漏れ日 - made up of the words for tree ('ko'), filtered ('more') and sunlight ('bi').
In September, things in the UK were looking uncertain with summer drawing to a close and people bracing themselves for another lockdown on the horizon.
But in times like these, Japanese people look for their own personal KOMOREBI - the realisations of what they're grateful for, like the dappled sunlight that's made all the more beautiful when filtered through leaves.
